By a simple and quick movement the smaller pan can be easily set by position 1 at position 2 giving a higher rim

The smaller pan can be easily replaced with the larger one
SUGGESTION FOR USE
The first day the smaller pan is set in position 1 and the green cone is fully raised. As the chicks grow, the green cone is gradually lowered until it rests on the supports on the bottom rim. The green cone then remains in this position. As the birds grow, the feed lines are raised off the litter and the outer edge is set at position 2. The resulting higher rim means that the birds can continue to feed from the same pan. Compared with the traditional method of changing pans, the new TAC3 saves feed and greatly reduces the labour imput. Designed for heavy birds, the large TAC3 pan has a rounded edge with a soft impact resistance which prevents injury to the turkeys.
For optimum results it is recommended that the green cone is set at ” minimum ” and that the upper edge of the pan is at approximately the birds’chest level.
